Support Services For Seniors and Their Caregivers
As your parents age, it can become increasingly difficult for them and you, as their caregivers. The need for specialized care for dementia, similar conditions, and medical needs become a priority. As a caregiver, you may not want to give up but you could use a break once in awhile. Then, there’s not knowing where to go to get assistance or access available resources.
That’s where nonprofit organizations like Fallbrook-based Foundation For Senior Care can step in and help. Serving parts of San Diego County as well as Temecula and Murrieta, the organization offers transportation, day care, and advocacy services for seniors and their caregivers.
Watch the video below with Theresa Geracitano of Foundation For Senior Care as she describes how their services can help seniors get the transport and advocacy they need as well as encourage them to make friends and stay mentally and physically active.
