It Takes a Village

While you can generate success on your own, it comes faster when you have a team behind you. I certainly have experienced that as a successful real estate agent.

Over the years, I’ve been a part of local organizations for that very reason. They offer support and resources that have lifted me up and propelled me to where I am today. One of these organizations is the Professional Women’s Roundtable.

It’s at this monthly meeting of empowered women empowering other women where I met Annette LaRocque, the CEO of the organization and a local business owner. The funny thing is we actually indirectly have known each other for years. That’s because my husband and I have used her two flower shops, Murrieta VIP Florist and Lake Elsinore VIP florist, for over a decade not realizing she was the incredible talent behind these businesses.

Here I was supporting a long-time women-owned business, which is exactly what I’ve tried to do throughout my own career. And, it’s what the Professional Women’s Roundtable does with mentoring, resources, community activism, and scholarships for female high school students and women who want to continue their education.

Click the video below to learn more about how you can get the support you need as a women-owned business or to find out how you can be a part of this village, helping other women succeed.
