Joy to the World and Those Right Here in Temecula Valley
You know how good it feels when you give to others. In so many ways, giving feels better than receiving. It’s priceless to see their eyes light up and those broad smiles appear across their faces. Maybe there is a hug or words of gratitude for the gift you’ve provided.
That’s what working with the Assistance League of Temecula Valley feels like every day. Started in California, this nonprofit has spread its cheer across the country with 120 chapters and over 22,000 volunteers. The organization is designed to help low-income children and families, often gifting them with clothes and other basic necessities.
Our local Assistance League in Temecula has nine local programs that it operates designed to address specific community needs. Each year, local students get a chance to shop with their parents, getting new clothes or their very own shoes.
Watch the video below with Electra Demos of the Assistance League Temecula Valley who shares how you can get involved through an open house on January 7th. Whether it’s today, tomorrow, or at upcoming events, check out how you can give time, money, or items to generate more joy.
